The Sinclair Machines: 1980s

With his new company, Sinclair Research, on a firm footing, the 1980s were by far Sinclair's most successful decade. The man himself became a household name and millions of his machines were sold (and pirated!) around the world. The descent was, however, nearly as swift as the rise.

Note: the machine in italics were not produced by Sinclair Research, but were instead authorised clones of the ZX81, Spectrum and QL.
